This lot consists of two checks written in Pete Maravich's hand to "Cash" out of the Pete or Jackie Maravich account and signed on both sides by Pete. The 1/16/87 check #536 for $250 is filled out in blue ink and endorsed in black ink. Each signature rates at least a 9 and neither is touched by the cancellation print. The check is in near mint condition, with a small piece missing from the lower left corner. The 3/27/87 check #567 for $100 is filled out and endorsed in black ink. Each signature rates a 9 and is untouched by the cancellation print. Aside from three fairly light vertical creases from folding, the check is in near mint condition. Each check comes to us directly from Pete's wife Jackie Maravich and is accompanied by her letter of authenticity. Maravich signed checks are extremely rare, but a double-signed check is almost impossible to find. The autographs come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
