On the front left tail is a “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a size “44” flag tag that reads “CARE ON REVERSE” with washing instructions on the back. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag that reads “Rhoden 87 1”. On the left chest is an “NY” logo in tackle twill. On the back is player number “26”. These are both done in the same navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the pinstripe jersey. Above the logo on the chest reads “Game Used 1987 Yanks” and above the manufacturer’s tag, the jersey is signed by Rick Cerone with the added inscription, “1981 A.L. CHAMPS YANKS” in black marker and in our opinion, rates a 7. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
