On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions. Attached are two flag tags, “46” and “BP”. Inside the rear collar is a grey strip tag with “Mantle 89 2” indicating Mickey’s name, jersey year and set, respectively. Across the front is “NEW YORK”. On back is Mickey’s number “7”. All numbers and letters are done in navy blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It is accompanied by an additional LOA graded a 10. It was originally accompanied by a bat boy letter which has since become unavailable. It is possible it was worn in spring training.
