An all-American at UCLA, Cowboys' first-round draft pick and the first player selected overall in the 1989 draft, Aikman began filling the stat sheet almost immediately. He is referred to as one of "The Triplets" with Cowboys' teammates Michael Irvin and Emmitt Smith. Troy Aikman led the Dallas Cowboys to three Super Bowl wins. He is considered one of the greatest players to play his position. Among his many accomplishments, Aikman is the winningest starting quarterback of any decade with 90 of 94 career wins occurring in the 1990s. This helmet was displayed openly in a bar for years and has been discolored. As a result, a brown coloring on the interior and exterior has since taken effect. The Cowboys logo "Star" appears on each side of the helmet in blue outlined in white and blue. Above the mask centered on the helmet is "AIR". Along the white stripe of the helmet on the rear reads "AIKMAN" on blue dymo-tape. Size "L" as indicated by a white sticker on the rear. The helmet shows good game-use. The chinstrap and facemask of the helmet are intact. Helmet can be photo matched to his 1989 Topps Traded card #70.
