A two-time Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, Larry Bird has his No. 33 retired by the Boston Celtics franchise. The Boston Celtics played in five home games during the 1991-92 NBA playoffs. The dates of these home games are: April 23rd, April 25th, May 8th, May 10th and May 15th. We have yet to find a conclusive Photo-Match to one of these games, as the sampling of available images is limited. On the front left tail is a “Champion” distributor’s tag that reads, “YEAR 1991 ID# BODY LENGTH +2”. On this tag in pen, “33” and “1992 Playoffs” is written. Adjacent is a “Champion” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On the left inseam is a tag that reads, “100% NYLON”. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads, “CELTICS”, the player number “33” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “BIRD”. All numbering and lettering is done in green tackle twill sewn directly onto the white mesh jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use.
