Gary Carter was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003 and an 11-time All-Star. On the inside rear collar is a “Rawlings” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a “SET 1 1991” flag tag. Across the chest reads “Dodgers” in blue tackle twill. The player number “12” appears on the front in red tackle twill. On the back reads “CARTER” and player number “12” in the same blue on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the white jersey. On the right sleeve reads “Rawlings” in blue stitching. Although Carter wore his usual number “8” for the majority of the season we have located a picture of him wearing the number “12” during Spring Training and this is likely that jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
