In 14 minutes played during the 1991 NBA All-Star Game, Kevin McHale scored 2 points, had 3 rebounds and 2 assists leading the East to a 116-114 victory. On the left front tail is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “46”. Adjacent is a second “Champion” tag with “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Kevin McHale 1991”. Across the front is “NBA All-Star” sublimated on the shirt. Player number “32” appears on front in red on white tackle twill and on back in red tackle twill. Player name “McHALE” appears on back in red tackle twill. Inside the left seam are two flag tags sewn on top of one another, one on top with wash instructions and the other beneath with “2” Extra Length”. On the upper left shoulder strap is the official NBA embroidered logo. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a COA from the NBA.

Lots 1–9 presented in this auction were originally obtained at the NBA charity auction following the 1991All-Star Game in Charlotte, NorthCarolina. The sale raised more than $78,000 for "Operation FamilyShield," an organization in NorthCarolina that provided financial assistance for the families of reservists called for active duty and also helped the families from the six military bases in the state with members serving in the Gulf. Each of these jerseys will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the NBA, hand-signed by Commissioner David Stern.
