Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan played in an astounding 27 seasons, amassed a MLB record of 5,714 strikeouts, and another MLB record with 7 no-hitters. On the front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag size “46” with washing instructions and an attached flag tag reading “SET 2 1991”. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading “34 2” and adjacent to the right is a tag reading “2 INCH EXTRA LENGTH”. Across the chest reads “Rangers” in script style writing. The player number “34” appears below and on the back. All of these are done in blue on red tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “RYAN” in blue tackle twill sewn directly into the jersey. On the right sleeve is a Rawlings logo embroidered. Ryan was commonly known to have preferred Goodman supplied uniforms. That said, there is an image of Ryan on the mound clearly in a Rawlings jersey during Spring Training. The common thought process is that he would wear Rawlings on his off days and Goodman's when he pitched. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
