The 1992 Tournament of the Americas, known now as the FIBA Americas Championship, was a basketball championship hosted by the United States from June 27 to July 5, 1992. The games were played at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon. This FIBA Americas Championship was to earn the four berths allocated to the Americas for the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. It was the international debut of the Dream Team, which defeated Venezuela in the final to win the tournament. This ball is sourced from Wayne Embry, a former NBA General Manager and member of the Tournament of the Americas selection committee who was present when this ball was signed. “Spalding” basketball with “34 of 200 Limited Edition” stamped in black. The ball has been signed by 14 members of the Tournament of the Americas team and staff including Michael Jordan, Coach K, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Larry Bird, Chuck Daly, Scottie Pippen, Magic Johnson, P.J. Carlesimo, David Robinson, Chris Mullin, Clyde Drexler and John Stockton. All signatures are done in black marker rating an overall 7. The ball holds air, NM overall. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA as well as a LOA from Wayne Embry.
