During the 1995 season, Hall of Famer Wayne Gretzky played in 48 games and scored 11 goals and 37 assists for a total of 48 points and demonstrated his ability to adapt to the new rules following the lockout and continue to produce. Gretzky's leadership and experience were also valuable to the Kings, who qualified for the playoffs. Gretzky's performance during the season was widely recognized as a testament to his skill, longevity, and dedication to the game. This Easton manufactured aluminum stick features the name “GRETZKY” on the blade and shaft. Gretzky’s typical “Gripper” tape is on the handle and handwritten on the butt is “A.E. 75” in black. The blade is taped in black which is slightly separating. Handwritten on the shaft in black marker is “MARCH 6/95 2,300TH NHL PT.” which does not align with the game log notated on the butt. This stick was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows wear.
