The 1996-97 season was the middle championship of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls second three-peat in the 1990s. It was one of 10 seasons where Jordan led the NBA in scoring, averaging 29.6 points per game to go along with 5.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists. Every time Jordan was in an NBA Finals he captured the Finals MVP award, and during the 1996-97 NBA Finals Jordan averaged 32.3 points, seven rebounds and six assists per game to capture his fifth NBA championship. On the front left tail is the Champion manufacturer’s tag size “46” with washing instructions. Adjacent to the left is the “DESIGNED & TAILORED 96-97 EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHICAGO BULLS BODY LENGTH +3” tag. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered and on the upper right chest is the “ALL-STAR 97” patch. Across the chest reads, “BULLS”. The player number “23” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name “JORDAN”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on black tackle twill sewn directly onto the white mesh jersey. This jersey was presented to us as a pro cut.
