Ryne Sandberg was elected into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005. The 1984 NL MVP made 10 All-Star appearances, won nine Gold Glove Awards and was a seven-time Silver Slugger Award winner. His No. 23 is retired by the Chicago Cubs. American Baseball Cap manufactured size “7 3-8” blue helmet with a Cubs logo on the front and the inside padding intact. On the back is the player number “23” decal and “ABC” decal in white. Sandberg signed the helmet in silver marker with the added inscription “HOF 05” and in our opinion rates a near 9. The helmet shows game-use throughout including scuffing marks and was displayed at Wrigley Field. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows wear. Accompanied by a Full JSA LOA.
