The Chicago Bulls completed their second three-peat in the 1997-98 season led by five-time MVP Michael Jordan. Every time Jordan was in an NBA Finals he captured the Finals MVP award, and during the 1997-98 NBA Finals Jordan averaged 33.5 points in a staggering 41.7 minutes per game while capturing his sixth and final NBA championship. MJ wore this jersey on February 17th, 1998 in a 105-97 victory against Reggie Miller and the Indiana Pacers to improve their record to 39-15. Jordan led the way for the Bulls scoring 27 points while adding 6 assists and 4 rebounds. On the front left tail is the Nike manufacturer’s tag size “50” with an attached flag tag reading “LENGTH +4 MADE IN THE U.S.A.”. On the left inseam are two flag tags, one with jersey materials and washing instructions and a Nike “1997-98” year tag. On the upper left chest is an official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “BULLS”. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “23” and across the back is the player name “JORDAN”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on black tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows appropriate use. Accompanied by extensive documentation including a Chicago Bulls LOA along with the tent card featuring this jersey, an entry ticket to the FestaBulls 2006 fundraiser in which the jersey was originally sold, a 12x4 laminated photo of Jordan and Reggie Miller in action during this game, a MeiGray LOA confirming the February 17th, 1998 photo-match, and a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match and grading the jersey a perfect 10.
