David Ortiz is the most productive designated hitter in MLB history and holds DH records for home runs, RBI and hits. He is currently in the top-20 in MLB history in career home runs and is a three-time World Series champion. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag size “50” with washing instructions. Attached are two flag tags reading “100% POLYESTER” and “2” EXTRA LENGTH”. On the left sleeve is a Twins team logo patch and on the right sleeve is a “Jackie Robinson 50th 1947 1997 BREAKING BARRIERS” patch with a Russell Athletic logo embroidered beneath. Across the chest reads “MINNESOTA” in white on red tackle twill. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “27” in red on white tackle twill. Across the back on a navy blue nameplate is the player name “ORTIZ” in white on red tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
