Iverson came from Georgetown University in his sophomore year to become the winner of the 1996-97 Rookie of the Year Award. As one of the NBA's top guards, he helped bring the 76ers to the 2001 finals, their first trip since 1983. Iverson was named MVP of the 2000-01 season. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Champion" exclusive label and below is the year tag "1999-2000." Next to this is the "Champion" label and size "42" and below is the "+2 Length" label. Across the front of the shirt is "Sixers" and on the back is the name "Iverson." The player number "3" appears on both the front and back of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of white on red tackle twill. On the upper left front is the "NBA" patch and above this is a black armband commemorating the death of Wilt Chamberlain. There is an autograph on the back number. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
