Marino was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he became the most prolific and celebrated passer in Pitt Panther history and a first-round draft pick for Don Shula of the Dolphins. Marino has established a record number of records on the All-Time Quarterback list, does charity work, and created the Dan Marino Foundation to benefit the youth charities of South Florida. On the front left tail of this jersey is the "NIKE" manufacturer's size tag "50". Attached is a flag tag that reads "6" L.B." On the inside back collar of the jersey is a manufacturer's tag with "99-50" on it. On the front, back and both shoulders is the player number "13" in aqua on orange on dark blue triple tackle twill. Across the back is "MARINO" in aqua on orange tackle twill sewn on a white nameplate. The jersey has white spandex sides and custom open sleeves. On the front at the neck is the official "NFL" logo patch. Below this on the front of the jersey is the "DOLPHINS" patch. On each sleeve below the player number is the "NIKE" embroidered logo and below that is the "Dolphins" patch. The jersey shows good-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
