Before making a wildly successful transition into Major League Baseball and becoming the leading vote-getter for the 2001 All-Star Game, Ichiro Suzuki dominated Japan's Pacific League as a phenomenal five-tool player. From 1994 through 2000, Ichiro led the league in batting average for a Japanese-record seven consecutive times and won seven consecutive Gold Gloves in right field. Not surprisingly, he was named to the Pacific League's "Best Nine" in each of the seven years. He is now widely regarded as one of the greatest hitters in baseball history. On the inside back middle tail is the Mizuno Pro manufacturers tag. Attached below are three tags reading “00-”, “51” and a “Jaspo” tag. On the left inseam is a flag tag written in Japanese. Across the chest reads “ORIX” in navy blue on yellow tackle twill. The player number “51” appears below in yellow tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name “ICHIRO” in yellow tackle twill and beneath is the player number “51” in navy blue on yellow tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a “Blue Wave” team logo patch and on the right sleeve is a Blue Wave patch and a “KOBE” patch. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use.
