Mariano Rivera is considered the Yankees' top relief pitcher. He is arguably the most effective closer in postseason baseball history. Mariano earned the World Series MVP in 1999. Mariano's seven years on the Yanks have been a showcase of how incredible his pitching truly is. Offered here is Rivera's game-used glove from the 2001 season. This two piece web, Easy Flex glove was manufactured in Japan by Zett, and bears their red and yellow logo on the back of the wrist. The word "July" was written in black marker on the inside wrist, as this is most likely the month Rivera began using the glove. The players name is embroidered along the outside of the thumb. On the inside thumb it reads "11 Inch," and "BIG-1504" representing the glove size, and model, respectively. This glove shows good game-use, and comes with an LOA from an impeccable source.
