Barry Bonds was one of the most talented players baseball has ever seen. He holds records for the most home runs all-time and the most home runs in a single season. He won NL MVP seven times and is one of two players to ever have 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a single season. Manufacturer: Original Maple Bat Co. (SAM) Model Number: Bonds 2K1 Length: 34 inches Weight: 33.7 ounces Wood: Maple Finish: Black/Brown. This bat is uncracked and shows evidence of outstanding use. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Cleat marks can be seen on the left barrel. The handle and knob have been taped in a spiral and criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip and there is a light coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The length “34”, weight “31.8 oz”, date of manufacture “06 07 02”, model number “2K1” and Bonds’ initials “B.B.” are written on the top barrel in black ink. Bonds signed the barrel of the bat in silver marker with an added inscription which has been professionally removed. In our opinion the signature rates an 8. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and a PSA/DNA LOA grading the bat a GU 10.
