Sammy Sosa wore this jersey during the 2002 MLB All-Star Game in Milwaukee. As a starter, Sosa went 1-2. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturers tag with an attached flag tag reading the size “48”. On the left inseam is a flag tag with jersey materials and washing instructions. In the rear collar is a strip tag reading “21 48 01 S15”. On the left sleeve is a Cubs team logo patch with a “Majestic” logo embroidered beneath. On the right sleeve is the “2002 ALL-STAR GAME” patch with the Captain’s “C” patch below in blue on red tackle twill. On the left chest is the large Cubs team logo patch embroidered in red, white and blue. Across the back is the player name “SOSA” and beneath is the player number “21”. These are done in blue on red tackle twill. On the back collar is the official MLB logo patch. There is dirt staining across the front of the jersey from Sosa’s head first slide into third base during the game. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from Photo-Match.com comfirming the match and grading the jersey a perfect 10.
