Mark Messier is considered one of the greatest NHL players of all time. He won six Stanley Cups and is the only player to captain two different professional teams to championships. In 2007, he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Messier wore this pair of Bauer manufactured skates on March 18th, 2004 against the Washington Capitals. Messier recorded an assist in the game. The skates are fully laced and show game-use throughout including scuff marks. Handwritten on the backs in silver marker is “3-17-04” and the player number “11”. These skates are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and show wear.
