A 19-year-old LeBron James, coming off of his highly anticipated 2003-04 NBA Rookie of the Year season, played in his first Olympics with Team USA in 2004 in Athens. James, one of the two youngest players on the USA roster alongside Carmelo Anthony, played in all eight of Team USA's games at the Olympics. Team USA advanced to the bronze medal match against Lithuania, where the Americans dispatched their 1992 Summer Olympic foes in a 104-96 United States victory. This was the first of three Olympic appearances for James who is currently third all time in USA Olympic scoring and has publicly expressed interest in Paris 2024. On the front left tail of this white jersey is the Reebok manufacturer’s label with “USA BASKETBALL” and four flag tags attached - “50”, “PLAYDRY”, “2004” and “+4 LENGTH”. Team name (USA) appears across the front. Player number (9) is done below that and on the back. Both done in dark blue on red tackle twill. Embroidered on the right breast is the Reebok logo and “USA Basketball” logo on the left. Player name (JAMES) is done across the back in dark blue tackle twill. The jersey is signed and inscribed “Lebron James #23” on the front tail in black marker, in our opinion raiting an 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by a notarized Upper Deck LOA which states “Lebron James Autographed Game Worn USA Jersey”.
