Paul Goldschmidt has consistently been one of the most respected players in the league upon his debut with the D-Backs in 2011. Goldy is already - 7x All-Star, 2022 NL MVP, 2x Hank Aaron Awards, 4x Gold Gloves and 5x Silver Slugger (twice finished runner-up for Nl MVP). Old Hickory model TC1 Paul Goldschmidt professional model bat, measuring 34” and weighing 32.5 ounces. This bat exhibits evidence of outstanding use with a handle crack and a small piece missing. Numerous ballmarks and ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Cleat marks can be seen on all sides of the barrel. There is a moderate coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking, per Major League Baseball, for all maple bats since January 2009. Goldschmidt’s player number (44) is on a Schutte sticker affixed to the knob and written on the top of the barrel in black marker. This bat has been photo matched to multiple home runs.
