On Feb. 4, 2018, the Philadelphia Eagles recorded the franchise’s first Super Bowl victory. Playing against the vaunted AFC Champion New England Patriots at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the NFC Champion Eagles defeated the then-five-time Super Bowl champions by a thrilling score of 41-33. This lot is Nigel Bradham’s 2018 Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl LII Championship Player’s Trophy. It’s a Lombardi Trophy, named after legendary Green Bay Packers head coach Vince Lombardi. It stands 21.5” tall, weighs 6.6 lbs, and pays tribute to Philadelphia’s incredible victory over the Patriots in Super Bowl LII (52) on February 4, 2018. The neck of the trophy, upon which rests a silver football, reads: “VINCE LOMBARDI TROPHY SUPER BOWL LII AFC vs. NFC.” It goes on to reflect the final score of the game: “PHILADELPHIA EAGLES 41 – NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 33” and also spells out the location and date of the game: “U.S. BANK STADIUM, MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA FEBRUARY 4, 2018.” This stunning piece of football memorabilia represents the ultimate prize for any supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles, a franchise that has been around since the team’s inception in 1933.
