On June 19, 2001 Barry Bonds stepped to the plate against San Diego Padres pitcher, Adam Eaton at Qualcomm Stadium to hit home run #531 of his career. This was home run #37 of the record breaking 73 home run season. On the front left tail of this jersey is the "Russell Athletic" wash instructions label. Below is the "25 Barry Bonds Authenticated 2001" embroidered label. Across the front of the jersey is "SAN FRANCISCO" in black on orange tackle twill. The player number "25" is on the back also in black on orange white tackle twill. Across the back of the jersey is "BONDS" in black on orange tackle twill on a grey name plate. On the back of the collar is the official MLB logo patch. On the left sleeve "Giants" patch and below is the "R" Russell logo. The jersey is autographed on the back in black marker with "HR 531" not necessarily in Bonds' hand and rates a 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The jersey has the "Barry Bonds" hologram affixed to the back. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
