Matt Harvey made his Major League debut on July 26, 2012 against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Harvey struck out 11 batters without allowing a run en route to his first career victory. Presented is Harveys uniform and cap from his debut. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag size “48” with an MLB hologram serial number “EK018768”. On the left sleeve is the Mets “50TH ANNIVERSARY” patch and on the right sleeve is the black “KID 8” patch in honor of Gary Carter. Across the chest reads “NEW YORK”. The player number “33” appears below and on the back and across the back is the player name “HARVEY”. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange tackle twill. Also included are the matching pants with the player number “33” handwritten on the tag and MLB hologram serial number “EK018769” and a strip tag reading “70 Harvey 38-44 36 OB ‘12 P2”. The cap is included as well size “7 3-8” with the player number “33” handwritten on the buckram with MLB hologram “EK018770”. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
