Luis Severino made his anticipated MLB debut on August 5th, 2015 against the rival Boston Red Sox. Severino pitched 5 innings, allowing 1 earned run while striking out 7. Offered are his jersey and cap from that game. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag with a Steiner hologram serial number “222731” and two attached tags reading the year “2015” and size “48”. Adjacent below is a Yankees inventory barcode with MLB hologram “HZ883980”. The jersey shows mild staining throughout the front and the Yankees “NY” logo is on the left chest with the player number “40” on the back. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue tackle twill. Also included is Severino’s size “7” cap with MLB hologram “HZ883982” and Steiner hologram “222732”. The player number “40” is handwritten inside the cap on the buckram. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
