This is an extremely rare endorsed Presidential paycheck, one of only 29 Presidential paychecks known to exist. Measures 8-3/8" x 3-1/4", issued by the Treasurer of the United States, Washington, D.C., September 30, 1933. This green check # 25,238 is imprinted on the left with the seal of the U.S. Treasury and is made out to "Franklin D Roosevelt, President Of The United States, The White House, Washington D C." It is also signed in black fountain pen by the Assistant Treasurer of the United States Marion Bannitser. The salary check, dated at the end of the month of September, 1933, is in the amount of $937.50. On the verso, the check is signed (endorsed) in black fountain pen by FDR "Franklin D Roosevelt." Above this is stamped "Paid, Oct 12 1933, Cash Division, Treasurer, U.S.," with additional pay stamp and a third stamp that reads "Deposited As Directed, Oct 12 1933, Treasurer, U.S." In overall EX-MT condition with a tiny tear on the upper border, signature grades an overall 8 to 9. Also included is a 3" x 5" "Delegate Alternate" admission ticket stub to the 1936 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Roosevelt portrait on the right, NR-MT with no creases. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
