This vintage store-model Babe Ruth bat, signed by the Yankee legend, survives in an impressive state of preservation. Turned by Hillerich & Bradsby for retail sale, this classic piece of lumber appears unused and uncracked. It is stamped 33” on the knob. As was customary, the bat was prepared for the addition of the Babe's signature by the removal of a 1" by 4" area of the walnut brown finish just to the right of the factory center brand. The signature is very faint. This bat was presented to us as a Store Model. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA, as well as a PSA/DNA Pre-Certification LOA.
