Circa 1909 Forbes Field Stadium Seat. Honus Wagner, Pie Traynor and Rabbit Maranville are among the many baseball luminaries to call Forbes Field home during the long service of this gorgeous seat from the defunct Pittsburgh ballpark. Forbes field was also the original home of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Pirates won three World Series while at Forbes Field; the Pittsburgh Panthers football team had five undefeated seasons before moving in 1924. In 1958, broadcaster Bob Prince dubbed Forbes Field "The House of Thrills" for the then-resurgent Pirates and several games that saw late-inning heroics.This green seat looks to be original and unrestored - a tough and desirable specimen.
