"Rawlings" brown right handed first baseman's glove used by Roy Mort who played first base for the Dallas Rebels for three seasons and was twice selected to the Texas League All-Star team. On the inside palm embroidered in silver reads, "THE IMPROVED GEOSISLER". Embroidered on the inside fingers is "RAWLINGS GS" and the inside embroidered between the palm and the fingers is "PROFESSIONAL". On the outer wrist is the red "RAWLINGS" manufacturer tag stitched into the back of the glove. The outside of the thumb embroidered is "HAND FORMED READY BROKE PAD PAT NO. 1562176". The glove is broken in and shows excellent use. Also included is an 8"x10" B&W photograph of Roy Mort wearing this glove in his Rebels uniform.
