Baseball cap game-used circa 1950s by Cardinals HOFer Stan Musial. Dark blue wool cap with red on white tackle twill interlocking "STL" logo on the front. Inside is bordered with brown leather with the size "7-1/4" and "27" stamped in. Red and yellow "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag sewn into the inside rear, player's name "Stan Musial" written in black ink below the size stamp. "Musial" written in black marker in block lettering under the bill, slightly faded. Stan Musial has signed the cap in blue sharpie under the bill. Nice use with cracked leather and sweat stains, signature grades a strong 8. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and another from Dick Dobbins, who showed the cap to Musial and had him sign it.
