Circa 1960 Lenny Wilkens Rookie Era St. Louis Hawks Worn Warm-Up Jacket (Player LOA • Only Known Example • HoF LOA)

This warm-up jacket is quite rare and historic. It was worn by two Hall of Famers; Lenny Wilkens and Slater Martin while each was a member of the St. Louis Hawks. Martin wore the jacket in 1959-60, Wilkins in 1960-61 his rookie season and finally by Cleo Hill in 1961-62, who’s LOA accompanies the jacket. Inside the rear collar is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “42”. Across the back is “Hawks” done in white and blue tackle twill. Inside the left front button path is “MARTIN” and "WILKENS”, both written in black marker. On the right inner button path is “HILL”, the third Hawks player to wear this incredible jacket. The warm-up is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn and in our opinion, shows wear. Accompanied by a LOA from Cleo Hill.
