Jim Palmer was the high-kicking hurler of Baltimore's six championship teams of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. His impressive numbers include 268 victories, a .638 winning percentage, eight 20-win seasons and a 2.86 ERA over 19 seasons. Intensity was the trademark of this three-time Cy Young Award winner, who is the Orioles' all-time winningest pitcher. The Rawlings tagging has been removed from this jersey. Across the front of the jersey is "Orioles" in script. Below that on the left and on the back of the jersey is the player number "22". Across the back of the jersey is "PALMER". All lettering and numbering is done in orange on black tackle twill. White, black, & orange cap manufactured by New Era. On the front is the official Orioles bird logo embroidered in black, orange, and white. On the inside headband is an additional tag with the size "7 1/4" on it. On the underneath of the bill is "22" in black pen. The jersey & hat show good game use and besides the Rawlings tagging being removed from the jersey there appears to be no alterations of any kind.
