This rare Official Rawlings ABA Dave DeBusschere basketball displays the classic red, white, and blue ABA colors, which helped to set this flashier league apart from its older and more established counterpart, the NBA, which used orange balls. It dates to the 1975-1976 season, the only year in which HOFer Dave DeBusschere was the ABA commissioner. At the end of the season DeBusschere facilitated the ABA-NBA merger, spelling the end of the ABA’s short nine year existence. The ball is in NRMT condition.
