Forty 1930s Indian Head buffalo "hobo" nickels that were hand carved by the hobo community, unknown dates but likely after the Hughes & Weigand era (post-1957). Rare selection includes predominantly soldiers, pioneers and clowns. These nickels were said to have been carved and traded in as art by a hungry hobo in exchange for a meal.
