This 3.5" x 8.25" stock certificate receipt, dated January 8, 1925, was issued to and signed by Miller J. Huggins, baseball Hall of Famer. Huggins managed the Cardinals and the Yankees, leading the Yankees to six pennants and three World Series victories. He signed the bottom in black ink, his signature rating a 9. The back of the certificate has a $5 stamp that says "documentary" and "United States Internal Revenue." Also included in this lot is a Huggins yellow postcard from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, in Cooperstown, NY. Huggins' signature comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. The receipt comes with an additional letter of authenticity.
