This ring commemorates HOFer Joe Dimaggio’s world famous 1941 season, in which DiMaggio won the 1941 American League MVP Award after batting .357 with 30 home runs and 125 RBIs. He posted an eye-popping .643 slugging percentage and a .440 on-base percentage as well. Of course, the most memorable feat from that season was DiMaggio’s 56-game hitting streak, a record that still exists to this day. Surrounding the face reads “MOST VALUABLE PLAYER AMERICAN LEAGUE 1941”. The center of the face features his player number (5) featuring over two dozen real diamonds. The right shank reads “JOSEPH PAUL DIMAGGIO CENTERFIELD”. The left shanks reads “THE PLAYER BBWAA NONPAREIL” (having no equal). Jostens trademark and 10K are engraved inside the band. Approximate weight of this ring is 46.9 grams with the size approximately a 9.5. Accompanied by a nice presentation box.
