John Havlicek was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1984. The eight-time NBA Champion is the Boston Celtics all-time leading scorer. He was All-NBA First-Team four times and was a 13-time All-Star. He was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. On the front left tail is a “Sand-Knit” tag that reads “Designed & Tailored Exclusively For The BOSTON CELTICS”. Below is another “Sand-Knit” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads “CELTICS”. Player number “17” appears on both the front and on the back. Across the back reads player name “HAVLICEK”. All numbering and lettering are done in the same white tackle twill sewn directly onto the green knit jersey. Havlicek signed the back player number “7” in black pen and in our opinion, rates a 9. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
