Hall of Famer Larry Bird is the only person in NBA history to be named Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, Finals MVP, All-Star MVP, Coach of the Year, and Executive of the Year. He played his entire career with the Boston Celtics for 13 years leading them to 5 Finals appearances and winning 3 of them. After his career as a player Bird went on to become a successful coach for the Indiana Pacers and later became an executive for the NBA. These shoes are from the Converse Weapon line, a new sneaker in the mid 1980’s promoted largely by Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. They quickly became one of the most popular shoes in the NBA until the release of the Air Jordan line. Both shoes have been autographed by Bird in black marker and in our opinion the autographs rate an 8. These shoes are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-worn and show wear.
