During the mid 90’s, few goaltenders approached the level of success that Mike Richter did. After a few years of struggles, Richter took over the net in New York and embarked on a magical three year period. In the 1993-94 season, he posted 42 wins (and 16 more in the playoffs) and led the Rangers to their first Stanley Cup in 45 years. The offered goalie mask features the “Lady Liberty” logo on top and Rangers team logos on the chin and sides. The mask shows outstanding use with multiple puck marks, paint chipping and sweat staining on the inside. We spoke with the maker of the mask, Dom Malebra who confirmed that this was one of a handful of masks that he did in fact make for Richter to wear. There were masks with and without the Bauer logo as well as slight decal placement variations. All padding and helmet straps are intact. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows wear.
