Jack Morris pitched for Detroit from 1977-1990, he retired in 1994 after playing for Minnesota, Toronto, and Cleveland. Morris was a very durable and consistant pitcher with a lifetime ERA under 4.00. On the front left tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions, and jersey size 46 on it. Attached is a tag reading "3 INCH EXTRA LENGTH." Also attached is a tag reading "SET 1 1987." Below the "Rawlings" tag is a tag reading "74 47 87 2." Across the front of the jersey is "DETROIT" done in navy blue on orange tackle twill. Across the back of the jersey is "MORRIS" done in navy blue tackle twill. Below that is the player number "47" done in navy blue on orange tackle twill. On the right sleeved stitched in white embroidery is "Rawlings." The jersey shows game-use, and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
