1972 was the first of three consecutive World Series Championships for the Oakland A's. Led by HOF 21-game winner Catfish Hunter and 19-game winner Ken Holtzman, the A's beat the Reds in seven games. This rare ring was presented to Lloyd Fox, a member of the Oakland A's front office. On the top of this size 7 ½ ring is a round CZ diamond set in a baseball diamond base, which is mounted to an oval green emerald. Around this in raised letters in reads "World Champions 1972." On the left shank in raised letters and banners it reads, from top to bottom, "World Series, A's 4 Reds 3, Charles O. Finley, S+S=S." On the right shank is a raised A's logo, gold with green enamel, and the words "Oakland" and "Fox." "Lloyd Fox is engraved on the inside of the ring. The ring shows light overall wear.
