Satchel Paige was one of the most talented, enduring, and entertaining pitchers ever to play the game of baseball, black or white. Legendary players such as Dizzy Dean and Joe DiMaggio claimed he was the best pitcher they ever went up against. His career spanned thirty years, dozens of teams, and several leagues, including the Negro and integrated major leagues. This Wilson Little League ball is in excellent condition and has maintained a bright creme color with minimal toning. The side panel of the ball has been autographed, "Best Wishes From Satchel Paige". The signature is done in blue ball point pen and rates a solid 9. The signature comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
