After '86 the New York Mets let go of some very good talent and could never recapture the magic. However, they remained competitive and scouted some good minor league prospects. The balls are all ONL White and are a bright white color. Notables include Carter, Hernandez, Viola, Stottlemyre, Gooden, Cone, Samuel, McReynolds, Lyons, Johnson, Myers, Elster etc. The signatures have been done in blue and black ink, are slightly faded and rate between 8 and near 10. The signatures come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
