This set, produced by Perez-Steele Galleries and the National Baseball Hall of Fame celebrates the 50th anniversary of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. For fifty years, the Hall of Fame has housed the memories of the Game played as it is on sandlots, playgrounds and even within domed stadia. The set includes 44 postcards, 35 of which are signed in blue Sharpie marker by the featured player. Signed cards include Hank Aaron, Yogi Berra, Ray Dandridge, Stan Musial and Ted Williams. Each postcard features a watercolor portrait of the player on one side, and the year inducted as well as the Hall of Fame's 50 Year emblem on the back. The cards come in a box complete with a checklist of those players included. Also part of the set is a booklet with compilations of the paintings on those postcards. This limited edition set is numbered 6,723 of 10,000 issued. The postcards, booklet and box are all in NM-MTcondition.The set comes in a commemorative velvet-lined box, the inside wall featuring a painting of an old baseball game being played. Everything is imprinted with the Celebration logo in silver. The players' signatures come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
