Although no alcohol is served in the Yankee Stadium bleachers, they remain home to the most spirited fans in the Major Leagues. This unusual Yankee Stadium bleacher seat likely dates from the 1950s or earlier. Measuring 51" long, made of metal composite and attached to two heavy iron brackets, this seat appears to have been "personally decorated" by the fans. Below each stadium-stenciled seat number has been written in marker "Babe Ruth," "Lou Gehrig" and Joe D," respectively under "3," "4" and "5." A Yankees tophat logo and two baseballs have also been drawn in. Unique piece of Yankee Stadium memorabilia.
