Known as "The Friendly Confines," Chicago's Wrigley Field, built in 1914, is the second oldest park in baseball behind Boston's Fenway Park. It was originally built on the grounds of a former seminary. The park has been renovated several times since 1937. This is a very old Wrigley Field chair, likely dating to the 1930s or earlier. Painted green and standing approximately 32 ½" high, it shows great wear and use, both on the wood slat seat and the iron frame. We believe this is the original paint, no signs of restoration.
