In 1899 A.G. Spalding & Bros. made a radical change in their method of marketing. They decided to go directly to the retail dealer and thus the commitment to the consumer began and retailers could order directly from the Spalding catalog. "Make it a Spalding Christmas" with this original Spalding advertisement from the company's Christmas campaign advertising a few of their select sporting goods. Original Spalding advertisement measures 21-1/2" x 62" framed and is in excellent condition.
