Hall of Famer Joe Cronin played 20 seasons in the big leagues at the shortstop position for Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Washington, and Boston. He finished with 2,285 hits and 118 triples and would then go on to manage for an additional 15 seasons, once as player/manager in 1933. He became the American League president in 1959, and held the position until 1979 when Cronin was made honorary league chairman. This bat shows good use with ball, hit, and transfer marks on most of the barrel with cleat marks on the back barrel.
